My name is Mark
Morgan. I was born in Dallas, and raised by wolves in Mesquite,
Texas. Throughout my childhood I lived in a neighborhood with few
children. My best friends became pencil and paper, and a litter
of GI Joe and He-Man action figures. I sketched and doodled my time
away, and got in trouble in many classes for doing so.
In late '96
I delved into computer graphics. A good friend of mine who
was a computer junky and DOOM player convinced me to try my hand
at computer game art. In a few months, I had learned Dpaint, and
a company in Madison WI, by the name of Raven Software took a chance
on a kid with a desire to learn. In time, I was able to move back
to Dallas and secure a position working closer to my home. For the
past ten years, I have worked in the computer game development industry
as an artist and in-house barbarian. It has been a fun trip, and
I enjoy the process of creation immensely. I hope I can continue
this journey, ever striving to better myself as an artist and as a creative
being. In my spare time, I enjoy collecting swords, playing guitar
(badly), playing games, watching films, and listening to music.
